An upcoming Salmon Arm performance should appeal to people with a passion for the music of Amy Winehouse.
The Salmon Arm Folk Music Society has another night of music planned for Song Sparrow Hall, a tribute to the late singer-songwriter who in 2006 released what would be one of the best-selling albums of all time, Back to Black.
The Passion of Amy Winehouse features Saskatchewan singer-songwriter Heidi Munro who, accompanied by a nine-piece band, will recreate and celebrate Winehouse with a set list including many of her timeless hits such as Back to Black, Rehab, Valerie and Love is a Losing Game.
The concert takes place at Song Sparrow Hall on Thursday, Sept. 25. Doors will open at 6:30 p.m. and showtime is at 7. For tickets and further information, visit rootsandblues.ca or call 250-833-4096.
