It has been said that sculpture is to a block of marble what education is to the soul.
Linda Roseneck the owner of Duncan's Station Street Gallery is inviting art lovers to educate themselves on the talents of local artists. For the month of June she will be showcasing sculptor Emily Morgan, and multi media artists Sharon Coppick, and Abwren.
"Their art is very showing," said Roseneck.
The downtown Duncan gallery will be hosting their open house on June 8 from 1:30 to 4 p.m. What has been a monthly event with live jazz, appetizers and refreshments since last August will return to Thursday evenings starting in July as many people use the weekends in the summer to get away.
The three local women will have their works on display until June 30.
