Canada Day celebrations in Armstrong wil fill Memorial Park Monday, July 1.

There's plenty to see and do around Armstrong for Canada Day.

Take a splash for free in the pool at Memorial Park anytime from 12 to 5:30 p.m.

The rest of the activities kick off after 4 p.m., beginning with free Canada Day tattoos at the welcome tent.

There will be a presentation of the Colour Guard followed by the announcement of the Citizen of the Year and Canada Day birthday cake at 4:30 p.m.

Come hungry as there will be food trucks on site from the Armstrong Lions Club, Canada 2 for 1 Pizza, Udderly Ice Cream, Jeanette’s Bussin Bistro and First Armstrong Scouts.

Try your hand at obstacle courses from 5 to 7 p.m. by Swanson Mountain Fitness and Willing 2 Ninja.

Take in tunes from the Legendary Lake Monsters from 5 to 8 p.m.

Kids of all ages can enjoy face painting from Christine Turpin from 5 to 8 p.m.

A Flash and Frame Canada Day photo booth will be on site from 5 to 9 p.m.

Wear your brights and white for a black light party in the playground from 9 to 10 p.m. or take in the free movie in the park around 9.
