Throughout history the centre of towns and cities have featured an open plaza, park or people-oriented space. From the medieval towns of ancient Europe to the cities of Asia, a community's heart has always been an open space.
The incompetents at White Rock City Hall, the same ones who dishonestly promised voters they would provide civic waste collection and restrict skyscrapers, are now wanting to build a skyscraper as a "community hub." It's a joke. A morally reprehensible joke, and these clowns need to be booted out.
