The Cariboo-Chilcotin Crime Reduction Unit (CC-CRU) executed a search warrant on June 26 in relation to a drug trafficking investigation.
RCMP report the warrant was issued after they received information of alleged drug trafficking at a Williams Lake residence.
Police said an adult woman known to police was allegedly trafficking drugs at a residence and the search warrant was issued and a search was carried out.
"Evidence consistent with drug trafficking was located and seized," stated the RCMP press release.
A suspect was arrested in the residence as a result, though later released without process as the investigation continues.
