According to a BC Hydro customer, power has returned to downtown Hope.
The other areas are still being worked on by BC Hydro crews.

A transmission circuit failure has left over 6,000 BC Hydro customers from Hope to Kanaka Bar without power on Wednesday morning (Nov. 20).
According to BC Hydro, at approximately 9:24 a.m. on Wednesday a transmission circuit failure occurred and has left 6,276 customers without power. This includes the neighbourhoods of Ruby Creek and Silver Creek, downtown Hope, Sunshine Valley, Yale, Spuzzum, Boston Bar, Boothroyd, and Kanaka Bar.
Crews are on site and are working on restoring power to those affected. BC Hydro has not given an estimate on when power will be restored.
