WEATHER WATCH for Monday, June 9, 2025:

Today's forecast is part of an "early season heat event" that prompted Environment Canada to issue a special weather statement Friday (June 6), expected to last through today. In South Surrey and White Rock, today's temperature is projected to reach 28 C inland. Residents are advised to watch for the effects of heat illness (in themselves and any vulnerable loved ones), including heavy sweating, rash, cramps and worsening of some health conditions.
