Homeowners and tenants are urged to remain vigilant with managing attractants as bears are readying for hibernation.

As fall approaches, locals are reminded to be extra vigilant in managing attractants like garbage and unpicked fruit trees to avoid luring in hyperphagic bears.

This black bruin strolled through several Sunningdale yards on Sunday afternoon.

Give bears a wide berth, secure smelly refuse like household trash indoors, and remove bird seed, fruit and pet food from yards.
