Lion Club member Tara Oscarson and her dog Briar led the group of walkers around Kitsuksis Dyke.

The Pet Valu family of stores sponsors the Lions Foundation of Canada Dog Guides, helping empower Canadians living with disabilities to independently navigate their world, by providing a dog guide at no cost, and supporting them in their journey together.

Each dog guide costs $35,000 to raise and train. The foundation receives no government funding, relying instead on much needed donations.

Pet Valu has sponsored many dog guide teams, helping support people all across Canada. They have sponsored the annual Walk for Dog Guides since 2015.
