ASHCROFT BRANCH

Income tax volunteers

Every Friday from March 1 to May 1, volunteers are at the branch to help eligible people complete their income tax returns. The sessions will be held from noon to 2 p.m., and you can enter via the side door on 2nd Street. Please do not bring your tax information to the branch outside those times.

Yarn and Yap

All crafters are invited to bring their current project to the branch on Wednesdays from 1 to 4 p.m., and work on it while socializing with other crafters in a fun and relaxed atmosphere.

Scrapbooking classes

Drop-in scrapbooking classes are held every Thursday from 1 to 5 p.m. (the time has been expanded to allow people more time to work). Bring your scrapbooking items and work alongside others to create precious memories.

Scrapbooking for beginners

Not sure what scrapbooking is all about? The branch has you covered! On Thursday, March 14 there will be a Scrapbooking for Beginners information session from 1 to 3 p.m. Come on by and see what scrapbooking is and whether or not it’s for you.

CACHE CREEK BRANCH

Income tax volunteers

Every Tuesday from March 5 to April 30, volunteers are at the branch to help eligible people complete their income tax returns. The sessions will be held from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Please do not bring your tax information to the branch outside those times.

All crafters are invited to bring their current project to the branch on Tuesdays from 10 a.m. to noon, and work on it while socializing with other crafters in a fun and relaxed atmosphere.

Tech One-on-One

There will be a Tech One-on-One session on Tuesday, March 12 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Book a time to come in and talk to a tech adviser. Drop by the branch to register, or call (250) 457-9953. Please mention what you would like to discuss when you book your time.

CLINTON BRANCH

Income tax volunteers

Every Tuesday and Saturday from March 9 to April 27, volunteers are at the branch to help eligible people complete their income tax returns. The sessions will be held on Tuesdays from 1 to 4 p.m., and on Saturdays from noon to 2 p.m. Please do not bring your tax information to the branch outside those times.

Lego Time

Come in to the branch and build your own Lego creations every Tuesday from 2 to 5 p.m. Lego is supplied.

Puzzle Time

Work on puzzles every Thursday from 2 to 5 p.m. Spend as little or as much time as you’d like working on puzzles in progress.

Kids’ Drop-in Art Class

Children and youth are invited to come by and create their own artwork every Saturday from 10 to 11 a.m. Materials are supplied.

Learning Facebook

Adults who want to learn more about the basics of Facebook, as well as creating a page for their group or business, can attend a session on Thursday, March 7 from 6 to 7 p.m.

Friendship Bracelet 101

Anyone aged 12 and older can create their own Friendship Bracelet on Thursday, March 14 from 3 to 5 p.m. All materials are supplied.

Can you Pinterest?

Those aged 12 and older can learn more about social media site and app Pinterest on Tuesday, March 26 from 5 to 7 p.m. The image-based site is, in the words of Pinterest co-founder Ben Silbermann, a “catalogue of ideas” that inspires users to “go out and do that thing”.

SAVONA BRANCH

Income tax volunteers

Every Wednesday from March 6 to May 1, volunteers are at the branch to help eligible people complete their income tax returns. The sessions will be held from 1 to 3 p.m. Please do not bring your tax information to the branch outside those times.

Teen night

There will be a teen night on Thursday, March 14 from 5:45 to 6:45 p.m., and all teens are invited to drop in for a fun session of whatever strikes their fancy.

Adult paint night

On Thursday, March 28, adults are welcome at a paint night, where participants will create their own paintings. All materials are supplied.
