Family Skating Party
There was a good turnout for the Free Family Skate Party in the 47 Mile Sports Complex in Clinton on Sunday, Jan. 20.
Skaters of all ages were able to skate to music for bygone times up to more current tunes. The Seniors Association partnered with the Lions Club to offer hot chocolate and snacks.
This was the first official event in celebration of Clinton’s 150th and 50th anniversaries.
Upcoming Events
The 150/50 Anniversary Committee is busy working with the numerous organizations in Clinton to ensure there are events going on throughout the entire anniversary year.
There will be events on Feb. 11 to take advantage of the very first Family Day holiday in BC.
Watch for information on upcoming cross-country ski events, Family Winter Fun Day, ice fishing derby and many more events.
