Students from Queneesh Elementary School raised over $2,000 in honour of their classmate and friend.
At Queneesh Elementary school’s annual culture fair, students and families in Mrs. Jacobson’s intermediate Montessori class raised $2,069 in honour of their classmate and friend Brayden Robbins who tragically passed away earlier this school year.
Money raised will be donated to BC Children’s Hospital in his memory.
The fundraiser is still ongoing. Those interested in buying a raffle ticket to win one trip for two people to anywhere West Jet flies, are asked to please e-transfer $10 per ticket to raffleforbrayden@gmail.com.
All proceeds go to an adaptive playground at Queneesh Elementary School for all children to use and to keep Brayden's memory alive.
