Prepare to purchase potted perennials and more at a popular plant sale.

Chilliwack's annual Gwynne Vaughan Park Plant Sale returns on Saturday, June 7 where gardeners can buy a wide variety of plants from dozens of vendors. There will also be several artisan vendors, food trucks and booths, live music, silent auction, and free plant-sitting service.

All proceeds from the event go toward the upkeep, maintenance and development of Gwynne Vaughan Park and its heritage house.

There's lots of free parking on site, plus overflow parking at Strathcona Elementary and a shuttle between the school and the park via the Rotary Train, provided by the Chilliwack Fraser Rotary Club. Turnaround time is typically around 10 to 15 minutes.

The food area, with tented seating, is located in the orchard on the west/Bonavista Road side of the house.

People are reminded bring their own bags and boxes.

The Gwynne Vaughan Park Plant Sale is on Saturday, June 7. Gates open at 8:45 a.m. and the event runs from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. The park is located at 46181 Hope River Rd. in Chilliwack.
