DAN BENOIT

Dan Benoit is the owner of Wieners Plumbing and Drain Cleaning Inc., a well-established Kelowna company with over four decades of trusted service. Originally from Saskatchewan, Dan began his career in the trades in 1998 and became a Red Seal Journeyman Plumber in 2003. Over the years, he has added multiple certifications to his name—including Class A Gasfitter and Red Seal Steamfitter/Pipefitter—which have allowed him to take on specialized work and grow as a leader in the industry.

After relocating to Kelowna in 2017, Dan joined Wieners Plumbing, and in 2021, took the leap into entrepreneurship by purchasing the company. Under his leadership, the team has more than doubled in size, thanks to a people-first approach and a supportive, fun work environment. Dan is passionate about mentorship and regularly collaborates with programs like Okanagan College/KSS’s Dual Credit initiative to foster the next generation of tradespeople.

He also gives back through community events like the Okanagan Dream Rally, supporting children and families facing medical challenges. For Dan, success is about more than just business—it's about building community, empowering others, and turning challenges into opportunities for growth.
